A panel of judges that includes funders, innovation whizzes, and experts in public problem solving select the finalists.
The 20 finalists and their ideas are announced.
The finalists participate in an intensive two-day collaborative session in New York City to strengthen and stretch their ideas.
After Camp, each city continues to refine and build upon its idea for final submission and a chance to win.
The grand prize winner and four additional winners are announced and celebrated. The winners and their ideas gain national and local media recognition, as they implement their ideas.
