Five cities will win $1–5 million to bring their visions to life.

One $5 million grand prize and four additional prizes of $1 million each will be awarded to the cities whose ideas have the best potential to take root and spread. This is an opportunity to help fund an idea that can meaningfully change the lives of people in your city and in other cities.

Collaborate with a community of city innovators.

20 finalists will gain entrance to Ideas Camp this fall — a two-day gathering of the top city innovators who will come together to strengthen each other's ideas and bolster plans to see them through.

Tap into a wide range of public and private sector expertise.

The finalists also will receive individualized coaching from top experts who will help cities stretch their ideas and prepare for final submission.
